Curriculum Intent
The children in our school deserve a first-class education during their time here so that they develop a thirst for learning, reach their academic potential, make friends, play fairly, laugh, love and leave knowing they were part of this very unique school that is Holly Mount. We are committed to providing an ambitious, exciting and balanced curriculum that allows each and every child to be challenged, motivated and inspired.
Following an audit in 2019, we have designed the Holly Mount Curriculum in which the National Curriculum sits. Our sequenced curriculum weaves character strengths, knowledge and skills through interesting and inspiring topics and adventures. Subjects and themes connect to encourage divergent thinking, making links between learning and the wider world.
