Well done to Isla Mahony and Fred Bailey, the winners of the Great HollyMount Bake off. A massive well one to our runners up too; Matilda Oliver, Elizabeth Moore and Ella Thompstone. It was very difficult to judge the bakes; We had a guest judge Mrs Walton who helped and we also got Mrs Bond involved this morning. We have enjoyed hearing about the fun involved in bakes and really hope that your children will remember this experience.
Many thanks for all your support in helping your children to be a part of

Congratulations to all through to week 4 of the bake off; your next task is to bake a small fruit filled tart.
Please remember the aim of this competition is to have fun baking with your children. Children will be asked next week how they made their tarts and what they enjoyed most about the weeks bake.
The bake for next week is one of my favourites! For Wednesday 1st October can we please have an Irish wheaten bread.
Good luck and happy baking!
Thank you to everyone who entered, this week was another difficult week for choosing children to go through to the next round. All of the cakes were fantastic!

Firstly, a massive thank you to all who took part in the Bake off today and congratulations to those of you who have made it through to the next round. We were overwhelmed with the number of biscuits that came on today and enjoyed some of the stories behind the bakes. Well done to both children and parents for all your efforts.
For those of you who are baking for next Wednesday: Your task is to make a cake with 3 or more layers (not tiers, no HollyMount theme). We look forward to next weeks bakes, most importantly - have Fun.
