Year 4 Spring 1 Term

All children have been given individual 'mymaths' passwords and I will be setting one piece of  home learning per fortnight.  Just to get used to things there are a couple of tasks 'live' at the moment and we have had a go at them in class, but they must be completed at home and then the children need to 'checkout' to register their score.  If more practice is needed on that area of maths, the lessons attached to the homework are usually very helpful.  To use mymaths on an iPad the free app 'Puffin Academy' needs to be downloaded first and launched through it. Any child who needs a printed version of the maths homework can have one if there are technical problems.

Year 4 Autumn 2      -     General Information.

We are looking forward to another hard working, exciting half term in year 4.

A few dates for the diary;

Our assembly this term is on Friday 4th December at 9:00 am in the hall and everyone is welcome.  On Wednesday 9th December we will have our first class mass in the Sister James room at 11:00, again everyone is very welcome to join us.  Our history trip to Tatton Park is on Tuesday 24th November and we will post lots of pictures on our class page of all the activities.

Remember you can always see a copy of our Home Learning tasks as well as spellings for this term on our class webpage. Our tables being tested for November are the 8 x table, in December it will be the 6x, 7x and 8x tables.

Before we know it we will be opening our Advent calendar and making Christmas cards!
